What a busy but fantastic half term we’ve had! This week, we have been finishing our stories based on ‘Pigs Might Fly’ which is a retelling of the story of the three little pigs! This week, we have been writing our own stories where the pigs beat the big bad wolf in a race! In Maths, we have been recapping odd and even numbers, focusing in particular on the numbers 11-19. We are getting really good at partitioning numbers into tens and ones! In Topic, we have been completing our learning about the Wright Brothers and how they worked had and had to be resilient before building the first ever aeroplane, the Wright Flyer. Did you know that the first ever plane flight lasted just 12 seconds? We are all very excited for the Halloween disco and a well-earned rest!
