This week at school….
We have been thankful for all the good things in our lives and enjoyed lots of crafting and activities with parents at our Harvest Festival celebrations on Tuesday. We were fortunate this year to have lots of parents be able to come in and enjoy the afternoon with their children and then brave the chill outside and listen to the children sign their harvest songs! Thank you to everyone and for all the kind donations of food. We will be taking any food donations to the Food Bank in Cromer on our return after half term.

As we begin the winter term in earnest the cost of living crisis does not appear to be easing, please have a look at the attached information link. There are lots of services you can access to get help and support. If you are experiencing hardship please also let Mrs Webster know – we are here to help.
Help with Living Costs – Winter 2023/24 Norfolk Assistance Scheme can help you get support and financial assistance for food, energy, water, and other household essentials including white goods.
Staff changes – This week we said goodbye to Miss Finch from the Year 1 class. We will be sad to see her go but wish her well in her new adventures! We are also excited to announce that Miss Harris will be joining the MIS team. She will be moving into Reception and Miss Stephen will be moving into Year 1. They are both looking forward to meeting the children and being part of their new classes.
Whatever you and your family end up doing over the half term break, from all of the team at MIJS we wish you all a lovely break and look forward to seeing you all on
Monday 30th October.
