Head of School update

It’s been busy busy busy this week……

This week the children have been working hard building their knowledge in their new topics. Whilst it’s been quiet from an event perspective, the activities and hard work the children have put in this week has been brilliant to see.

Thursday saw our census day lunch take place. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed it – we had a great uptake on numbers.  Over the coming weeks we have a number of themed menu events coming up, please chat to your children and book a meal.  There are always plenty of choices to select from. Please be reminded that lunches need to be booked by Friday of the previous week and by the cut off dates for special menus.

Don’t forget to check out our class updates this week. There has been lots of activity, and even Gingerbread baking and sampling of Mayan Hot Chocolate.

PTFA News:  If you have not already booked your tickets, don’t forget the Friendship Disco – Tickets are now live on school money.  We are always looking for helpers or new members.  There is no commitment for regular help but if you can spare half an hour or support any of our events it would make a real difference.  If you are interested please get in touch with Mrs Cotter in the school office.

Next week will see our Year 1 and 2 children off to Norwich Cathedral and to walk the cobbled street of Elm Hill to see real history on our doorstep.  We very much look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing about everything they get to see.  On Tuesday the Year 3 and 4 children will be off to West Stow to sample life as a real Anglo Saxon. I am sure there will be lots of tales of the adventures they had when they return home.

As the cost of living continues to bite hard, please do let us know if you have any worries or concerns about your children, we are always here to help.
