We have had yet another busy week this week! In Science, we finished our learning about animals – all the different vertebrate types (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians), and which ones are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We also learned about the different body parts all animals have, including some body parts that humans don’t have. We used this knowledge to write riddles, to see if people could guess which animal we were describing! in English, we have started to write a letter to the Queen, telling her all about our Let’s Go Exploring topic, and about what we are going to do to help out the penguins! In Maths, we have been learning about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes, and lines of symmetry. In Phonics, we have been revising the ‘al’, ‘el’ and ‘il’ (l) sound at the end of words. Please practice the homophones (page 20) ready for our spelling check next Friday!
