What a great week we’ve had! In English, we wrote our independent non-chronological report on Penguins, and have really showed off our fantastic writing skills! In maths, we have been learning fractions, and how to find 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 of a shape or number, using methods that are very similar to the ones we use in division! In Science, we are learning about the different types of vertebrate animals: mammals, fish, reptiles, birds and amphibians, as well as what they eat (carnivores, herbivores and omnivores). It was fun sorting out the different animals and looking at fact files! In Phonics, we have been revising the ‘le’ (l) sound at the end of words. Please practice the homophones (page 19) ready for our spelling check next Friday!
