This week we have been finishing our story, “Pigs Might Fly” by Jonathan Emmett and Steven Cox in English. The children’s vocabulary has been amazing. We have seen improvements from everyone since we start Year 1 – everyone should be incredibly proud of how far they have come! In Maths we have been consolidating our knowledge of number 6 through to 10, and have began each lesson with counting in 2’s. Our afternoons have been filled with music fun, from using our bodys to create musical pieces to exploring instruments and discussing what sounds they create, the children have thoroughly enjoyed our exploration of music. Thank you to everyone who has been bringing in coats. Please continue to bring these in and ensure that children have their reading logs in their bags each day.
