What a week the children of Neverland have had. The children have completed some outstanding work this week with a range of different adults. In maths, we have continued with exploring partitioning, using part-part-whole models. In English, we began looking our first non-fiction book, “Little People, BIG DREAMS. Amelia Earhart”. The children’s use of creative adjectives and correct punctuation has shown how well they have settled into the Year 1 curriculum. Throughout the week we have also explored what a pilot is and what they do. This helped us transform into pilots for an experience lesson and better our understanding about how gliders and planes were invented.
