Jemison Class update

This week we have had a really good week of learning. We started a new book Lucy and Tom at the Seaside by Shirley Hughes. We have enjoyed thinking of onomatopoeia words that a train would make, as they made their way to the seaside. All week we have been learning place value in maths. Looking at numbers between 1 – 100. Today we had to solve lots of number problems and work out the asnwers collaboratively. Then we went down to our Forest School area where all the answers were hidden! When we found an answer it had a letter attached and the letters made the word Place Value! We had so much fun and it showed that learning doesn’t have to be just done in the classroom.
