Jemison Class update

This week we have been all smiles in school. We have been working as a team on our outside area, now the weather is improving (slightly!). The children have come up with some great ideas and taken real ownership over the area. We’ve been loving Forest school on a Friday, creating nests for birds to lay their eggs in, finding minibeasts in their habitats and generally exploring the wonders of the outdoor world! In English we have carried on our learning of the story Peter Pan using fantastic vocabulary like suspiciously and gutsy! In maths this week we have focussed on word problems using the multiplication skills we have learnt previously and also just started learning about division through sharing. We spent the afternoon on Wednesday preparing for the King’s Coronation, learning some facts about it and reading a funny book called the King’s Pants!
