Head of School update

Welcome back to school everyone!

We hope that you all had a restful break, we have so enjoyed hearing what everyone was up to despite the weather.

This half term is action packed with trips and events and parent events. We are looking forward to welcoming all our parents and carers to these events, please check the website regularly for updates as well as the save the date for the diary document which was emailed to you.

This week we had visits from HSBC who ran a whole day of activities and lessons for children in both schools focussed on handling and using money. Becoming “Money Savvy” is a key life skill for all our children and they all enjoyed the time they had learning about how money works.  In the Junior school, Wonderland and Whoville had great fun exploring the Sealife Centre in Yarmouth.  The children learnt so much and enjoyed seeing and experiencing the animals and sealife there and how the environment can affect their habitats.

At the end of the month we are hosting a child behaviour workshop for all parents. Please sign up via the office. This is a great opportunity to learn some tips and techniques to support your child’s development and support you with tricky situations which we all experience. The sessions are being run by the Schools and Communities team using the Norfolk Steps approach. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to network with other parents and tackle everyday situations/questions. We hope to see you there.

Norse (our on site caterers) are running a competition to Design a Lunch!  Entries must be handed in on Monday.
