We have had a lovely week in Earhart Class! We have been learning a new English unit called Ganesha’s sweet tooth, all about a hindu god who absolutely loves delicious sweet treats! In Maths, we have been practising our addition and subtraction by finding out about fact families. Our topic learning has also been very exciting. On Tuesday, we had a lady called Georgina who came in to draw some amazing patterns on our hands called mehndi, which she drew on using a type of ink called henna! We also learnt about a type of circular pattern that is drawn on the floor for Indian festivals called Rangoli patterns. They are very brightly coloured and we made ours using coloured rice!
