We had a fabulous time on our trip to the Station this week! We were able to watch two trains arrive and depart from North Walsham station and the drivers waved and tooted at us! The children loved seeing real trains and were able to spot tracks, signs and even how the the carriages were joined together! In Maths we have been adding (numbers within 10) using counters and then moving onto placing the counters on a number track. We have been using the stem sentence , ‘first I have xxx, then I have xxx,, now there are xxx. It would be great if you could practice at home. In phonics we have looked at Tricky Witch trigraphs ‘ear’ and ‘ure’. For English we have looked at the Christian celebration of Easter, how and why it is celebrated, we’ve been very creative with Easter crafts and even made nests that we could eat! We hope you have a wonderful Easter holiday and that the weather improves. Please keep reading at home.
