Welcome to Browne class!
We are based in the Special Resource Base for children from across the county that need a therapeutic setting to support their education. We are named after the fantastic children’s author Anthony Browne, our favourite books of his are Willy the Wimp, Gorilla and Changes.
Mrs Cass is our teacher and she is also in charge of the day to day running of the SRB, Miss Cook is our HLTA and Miss Butler and Mr D are our Teaching Assistants – this makes up an awesome team!
We join in with the infant school as much as possible by using the library, playground and field to develop and practise our social skills and to find strategies to help us when we find things difficult. We are a year 1 and 2 mixed class, at the moment we are really enjoying bugs and bug hunts, playing dodgeball and stuck in the mud and trying to build the tallest tower from stacking cups!
