On Friday 20th April, the schools councils from MIS and MJS joined forces to count the 1000’s of batteries collected by families in Mundesley. All children took home a book and were asked to collect all used batteries to try to reduce the number going into landfill.
The children were amazed at the number collected (we’re yet to have a total) which filled all of the containers we have and more! Thank you to everyone who took part. We are continuing to collect used batteries so please bring them into school when yours run out. We have tubs in and around both schools.
